Wickham Dental Care has re-opened and we are back to doing what we do best—building healthy smiles. Most importantly, in the post COVID-19 aura, we are providing a welcoming safe haven for our patients. We have taken all of the ADA and CDC recommended steps to ensure...Wickham Dental Care has historically gone above and beyond the requirements of the American Dental Association for maintaining a pristinely sterile environment; today in the aftermath of the Coronavirus, we will be raising that bar.
Our “soft” re-opening on May 11th will strictly adhere to the recommendations of both the ADA and the CDC. Every corner of our healthcare facility will be sanitized. Reduced staffing and a more open patient schedule will promote social distancing by minimizing the number of persons in the office at any given time. Visitors and patient companions will be discouraged.
We will be less recognizable behind our masks but we will be contributing toward ensuring the health and safety of our patients by adopting all suggested protective attire for clinical care. No person in ill health or registering a fever will come inside our doors.
First class dental care has traditionally been a staunch enemy of all viruses. We believe our increased dedication to prevention will guarantee Wickham Dental Care as a safe haven and continued resource for optimum dental care.
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 321-956-0999 or close this message to view our website.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
Sincerely,
Dr. Sadesh Kumar
